FTT@580 Team Leader

FTT@580 is led by the Executive Managing Partner, Dr McEdward Murimbika, a prolific business and policy researcher and advisor to corporates and public organisations alike. He holds a Ph.D. (Univ. of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg); Masters in Management (Wits Business School) and an M.Phil. (Univ. of Bergen, Norway). He also holds junior degrees and graduate qualifications from the Universities of Zimbabwe and Brussels respectively. He is a business change engineer with a mind steeped in the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and business innovation. He is leading FTT@580 on principles of the new global economic reality – Entrepreneurial Intellectual capital - [brain power, know-how and human imagination].

Dr. Murimbika’s applied research interest focus on how Intellectual Capital has supplanted Financial Capital as the critical success factor for corporations and public and social organisations in this highly globalized economy. He is a champion for entrepreneurial strategic approach for corporations and organisations with an eye for the future as means to secure sustainable competitive advantage be it in private, social or in public sectors.

Outside the management consultancy and corporate and organisational entrepreneurship world, Dr. Murimbika is also an active mentor to a number of South African social entrepreneurs and is an accomplished professional archaeologist.
